Yeehaw!  What a success!  Coloma was our best-attended show yet…and the audience was definitely rewarded! Center Stage Academy, thank you for the curtain raisers!  We couldn’t have started off our shows any better!  You’re all amazing!

We just finished up a great summer workshop and performance!  This year’s shows consisted of CSP’s first ever opera (care for some milk…with ice?), the tale of Athena and Medusa (and of course Hercules…the greatest Greek of them all!), and the time travelling adventures of Bucky Goldstein and his trusty mechanic Melody (based on ideas and characters created by the CSP summer workshop participants!).  Fantastic job summer workshoppers!

Summer workshop started this week! Our performers are already talking about acting, singing, and dancing techniques they have learned. Everyone’s looking forward to the scripts being handed out on Friday!

Gearing up for our 2nd week of dress rehearsals at the Off Broadway Theatre! The performers are looking great!

As we dive deeper into our scripts, we are learning more about our characters and working hard on their development.  We leave ourselves at the door and become our character for an hour and a half each week!

Our performers hard at work!  During the month of March we have focused on learning the choreography for our upcoming show, The Suitor.  This show has 9 songs, ranging from a soul-searching soliloquy, to a heartfelt harmony, to a lightning fast finale!  Which one will be your favorite?
